About Us

"We believe that access to common hand and power tools should not be limited by income."

Mission

The Santa Rosa Tool library is dedicated to helping people who live or work in Sonoma County reduce the cost of maintaining the places in which they live, work, and play. The tool library offers hand and power tools for landscaping and home repair ... free of charge.

History

The Santa Rosa Tool Library was founded in August 2008 by Dustin Zuckerman who loaned tools out of his ground level apartment, then a Victorian home, until securing a public facility in downtown Santa Rosa in April 2011.

Board of Directors

The tool library is run entirely by volunteers and is guided by our dedicated board of directors:

Russ Scarola - President

Shelley Murphey - Secretary

Steve Alcorta - Treasurer
